We are looking for an experienced salesperson to join the Craft in Wood team.
The Role:
Reporting to the Sales Director, in this role you will be working from our Hornsby office and will also be visiting clients’ homes, 5 days per week including 1 weekend day. A key part of the role will be the growth of new business opportunities, and this will see you converting leads, and not afraid of cold calling.
You will be responsible for:
- Meeting prospective clients on-site – trade and retail clients
- Preparing proposals and sales documents
- Actively manage and develop a sales pipeline and leads
- Following up with prospective clients, closing deals, and meeting sales targets
- Coordinating subcontractor quotes
- Producing drawings/designs for customers
- Following project timelines – communicating with clients through the journey
- Maintain and build client relationships through regular communication and site visits
- Liaising with the production and install teams
- Providing technical advice and support
To be successful in the role, you have
- A minimum 2 years of previous experience in residential joinery sales or construction sales
- Must have own vehicle
- Great customer service skills
- An eye for detail and great organisational skills
- Are proficient in the use of Windows, Microsoft Office is a must
- Experience in using CAD software
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and take pride in what you do
- Well-presented, reliable, friendly, and professional
